How to get Credit for Attending Safer Buildings Training (CEUs, CDEs, CPDs)<\/h1>\n

Safer Buildings Coalition ERCES seminars are conducted over a 5-hour time frame. This 5-hour training session has been approved by several industry organizations for training credits. Attendees must follow the procedure set out by their accreditation organization to receive credit. Other SBC seminars, webinars, and trainings may qualify for credits.<\/p>\n

Safer Buildings Coalition can issue a Certificate of Attendance to the attendee upon request, with confirmation of attendance.<\/p>\n

The following is the list of organizations which will issue credits for taking Safer Buildings Coalition training:<\/h2>\n

International Code Council (ICC)<\/h3>\n

The International Code Council is the leading global source of model codes and standards and building safety solutions that include product evaluation, accreditation, technology, training, and certification. The Code Council’s codes, standards, and solutions are used to ensure safe, affordable, and sustainable communities and buildings worldwide.<\/p>\n

Safer Buildings Coalition has received approval for our 5-hour training session on ERCES. The ICC awards 5 Contact hours or 0.5 CEUs for our 5-hour training course. During the course, request a Certificate of Attendance from SBC, then you submit it to the ICC using the course code that is on the ICC website. Each of our seminars has a specific course code, based on the location and date. Visit the ICC website<\/a> to learn more about how to enter and submit CEUs.<\/p>\n

SBC courses are routinely added the ICC Preferred Provider Program schedule here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

APCO<\/h3>\n

Safer Buildings Coalition 5-hour training seminar qualifies for 5 APCO CDE. APCO members should request a Certificate of Attendance from SBC during the seminar, then upload it to their personal MyAPCO account.<\/p>\n
